where can i buy a chunky wooden toilet seat? the only wooden toilet seats i see in shops now are slim and poorly made. i want one like they made in the old days!

I think the demand has to be for a slimmer style these days, so that's all one finds. As for quality I think you get what you pay for in the main.

I'd suspect you'd need to find a local business who manufacture wooden items, ask if an apprentice can make a little 'toilet seat' project to your desired thickness ?
