whats better....creative zen 20GB mp3 player or new apple ipod 30GB....which one is worth gettin more..considering the ipod costs �60 more?

Depends what you want from it. Usually the Zens have more (radio, recording etc.).Battery is probably better as well . Don't follow the hype. Look out for the new video capable M version (if you want video). However, have you considered the Samsung YH-J70 (I've been waiting for mine from Santa (and Currys) - should be coming any day now (no, not Santa!)). It has a lot - look it up.

I have a Zen, just as good as the iPod.

however, I would argue that the iPod is easier to use from day to day. both in using the device itself, and the software on your computer.

as the others say though, there's not a lot in it.

Just got my Samsung - it's now charging - will let you know what it's like (good ol' Santa).

The Samsung is great (20GB version). It displays photos while you listen to music. Plays mp3, wma and ogg (not sure about wav yet). Movies can be played and are quite good but have to be converted to their proprietary format first.

There is also the possibility of connecting other USB devices (some cameras are listed and may be added to with firmware upgrades). Haven't tried my camera yet but I can take the card out and transfer by means of a small card reader which the Samsung does recognise. It even recognised my wife's smaller mp3 player and could transfer files back and forth.

There is a calendar, memo and text file reader as well as some games! And it is quite slim.

There is also a direct record feature (may get LPs transferred this way), and has a radio with record facility.

Still lots more to investigate......
