arnica tablets - breast enlargement

I am having a breast enlargement in 9 days time and I've heard that you should take arnica tablets leading up to operation to help with bruising and swelling. Does anyone know if this is correct or has anybody took them / not took them before getting boob job?

i know lots of women that took them after childbirth to help with painful bruising down below and swore they helped. Dont think they took any before though

I took them for a bit before I had Botox, and it stopped the bruising, so it might be worth a try. Best to check with your surgeon just in case it has any elements which may affect clotting during surgery though.

Deffo worth taking. Hope I don't sound like a herbal freak but take a small plant spray bottle with diluted Tea Tree oil and spray around on and in your bed... help stop any infections

Excellent for helpng heal bruising. Also the Arnica Gel is excellent for jiont pain

my two sisters were both advised to start taking it a few days before having wisdom teeth out. it's great stuff!

I was advised by transform to take them before having my boobs done and I must say it wasn't too painful and I had hardly any bruising at all! Over a year later they look more natural as well, real confidence booster, Becca x

I took arnica tablets for 3 weeks before having mine done, my surgeon recommended it, the result, absolutely no bruising whatsoever.
There was some swelling tho, but that is expected as the body tries to figure out why it has 2 forgein bodies sitting proudly in it!!

Remember you will be really shocked the first time you see the new you, you are used to seeing your body as it is now, seeing something different looks really alien. But you will soon get used to it!

Arnica is very effective - used it when I had my vasectony. As for boobs I much prefer natural ones of any shape or size rather than two globs of silicone. Sorry.

my firend had a breats enlargement 2 weeks ago and she took arnica tablets for about 10 days after the op and before it (can't remember how many days before though). She did have quite a bit of bruising and swelling but it went down pretty quick. She's kept a photo diary of it and the difference is amazing! Hope it goes well for you :o)
