We have a landline only for connection to the internet, we have had our monthly bill from talk talk and it is a silly 63p, we pay bt 40.50 every 3 months. Is there a way of having internet connection without a landline?

Hi boobesque. You could take a look at www.now.com I've been with them for a couple of months now and have no complaints. On the downside, they don't seem to cover the whole of the UK at the moment, but they should be doing so soon, apparently. I'm on the cheapest package which is 10 per month inclusive, loads less than I was paying for regular broadband and minus the added expense of a landline. Hope this helps!
I'm the same, Boob ( or is it Mr Boob using Miss Boob's ID ? lol) . I've got a landline only for the internet and it bugs me to have to pay 10 a month to BT just for the privilege of using a phone line. I took out this internet connection because it was without a contract ( although it's changed now, and I have to pay 50 if I want out before one year... ), and you had to have a landline. However, now I'm pretty sure I will stay where I am for at least a year, I will go for cable whenever I move. It's sooooo much cheaper, i's ridiculous. Especially if like us, you don't use your phone line for normal calls.
