Anyone Watching Obsessive Cleaners (C4)?

I know that they have OCD, many of them, but three hours a day dusting...? It must be awful. It seems drastic to match them up with really untidy grubby people to try to help them.

That's TV for you! It's like 'Four in a Bed' or 'Come Dine With Me'. Everybody is chosen to give an edge to their programmes, to conflict with the other participants. The programmes are then edited very selectively.

I watched it last week and was concerned to see at the end of the programme that one of the women with OCD who visited a very untidy bloke to clean up his flat, actually got even worse after the programme.

She found dealing with his grime so distressing that she upped her own cleaning regime.

Don't see how this programme is helping those who suffer with OCD. Just cheap telly.

I just turned it on to see what you were talking about, had to turn back to Lewis, that bathroom and the woman retching, ugh! couldn't stand it.

my house just needs a bloody good sort out ... it is untidy and cluttered and in parts packed full ... but its certainly not grimey like those houses! bleurgh!

i sometimes wish i didnt do the job i do, because i am not remotely attached to any of its - its just props and art equipment etc, all useful and saves me time and money.
if i changed jobs id probably get rid of about 60 percent of my stuff.

I was concerned about the girl in the previous weeks show who used loads of bleach to clean the loos in the centre. Even a slight whiff of bleach makes me gag.

My house get messy quickly and I wish I could keep it more in order but I find it very difficult with a 2 and a half year old and a cat that leaves little balls of fur all over the place.
