Savory as opposed to sweet, sugary. So savoury snacks, perhaps a sandwich, packet of crisps, cheese and crackers. Sweet, sugary could be a fruit, cake, bar of chocolate.

the word savoury means tasty and not sweet so not cake or fruit but say cheese or meat
