Help!! I have bought a new laptop - windows eight, and I cannot get my email on it - every time I click on to mail I get a message - Add your mail accounts - mine is windows mail and there is no place for that, only hotmail, outlook, google and yahoo! How can I do this? I am fed up with the thing, my 'old' windows vista works like a dream...

Oh no it's not! Windows Mail is an email client. i.e. it's just a program which lets you access your email account; it's not the actual account itself.

I'm guessing that you previously used Vista (because Windows Mail was the email client provided with it). Windows 8 doesn't use that program; instead it offers you Outlook (which is what nearly all businesses use).

You need to accept the Outlook option and follow the instructions here:
