my mondeo rear lights and dash lights have gone out but i cant see that any of the fuse's have gone can some one help please

I'd be 95% sure it is a fuse, the other 5% its the feed to the fusebox. Most cars have the dash lights and the rear sidelights connected on the same fuse to let you know when a fuse has gone. Look in the manual for which fuse runs the rear/dash lights and change it with the same size(amps) fuse.
