What are the speed limits for towing a caravan in France?

Speed limits in France are as follows unless signs indicate otherwise:


Motorway 130Kph (110 when wet), open road 110 Kph (100 when wet), towns & built-up areas 50 Kph. You will be expected to keep to these limits without any signs to remind you.


If your car and trailer together weigh more than 3.5 tonnes, the limits are - Motorway 110 Kph, open road 100 Kph, towns & built-up areas 50 Kph.
