I have been taking dichlofenic for many years apart from naproxen and ibuprofen are there any others as i have naproxen upsets my stomach as does ibuprofen any suggestions would be welcomed

I am guessing that you are still having problems with your hip...............

I cannot think of any other drugs than you have mentioned...perhaps other ABers may have some suggestions.
have you tried paracetamol ?

thanks for your reply i do take co-dydramol and can take up to 8 a day so will carry on with present regime and reduce the dichlofenic from 3 50mg to 1 or 2
I have diclofenac for my arthritis, I've been on it for years too. I combine the diclofenac with paracetamol and codeine which helps me conserably. I've been prescribed naproxen in the past but find the diclofenac better, but you must take it after food as it can upset the stomach, and you can't take it at the same time as ibuprofen as they belong to the same family of drugs. If you feel your pain isn't being adressed by the diclofenac I think you ought to go back to your doctor and see if there is another pain killer he can offer you
