Patrick's Carer In Eastenders

Does anyone know where the actress playing Patrick's carer in EE has been in before, really recognise her TIA

Yeah, I said the same. Got her name from the end credits and she's been in Corrie, amongst other things.

Must have a while ago though, as I haven't watched Corrie for years! :-)

'Magda' in EE is played by Wanda Opalinska

in Corrie she played 'Wiki Danowska' in 2007-2009 as a worker at Underworld on the evening shift

FROM WIKI: Opalinska joined Coronation Street as a seamstress at the Underworld factory.[2] Opalinska's first on-screen appearance as Wiki was on 26 February 2007. Wiki worked for Underworld manageress Carla Connor (Alison King), and witnessed her friend Kasia Barowicz (Irena Rodic) die as she fell down the steps of the Underworld factory.

She has appeared in ITV1's The Sitcom Trials and the BBC's The Last Laugh.

Opalinska appeared in Waterloo Road in the episode first broadcast on BBC1 on 28 October 2010.[3] (Series 6, Episode 10)

Other television appearances include Doctors (BBC1) where she played Sue Pruce, Law and Order UK (ITV) where she played Marta, and Some Girls (BBC3) where she played the part of Marie (Series One, Episode Three).

On 28 February 2013, Opalinska appeared in her first episode of the BBC soap opera EastEnders as Magda Bakowska, the carer for Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker). She will play Magda throughout March 2013.

For theatre, Opalinska was recently in the Royal Court production of Truth and Reconciliation by Debbie Tucker Green.
