Is somebody at the Daily Mail infatuated with "the Vorderman", every time I look at their site there's a picture of her in some new outfit posing for the Paparazzi she obviously loves the attention but there is a limit.

I totally agree. What exactly does she do nowadays - I know she's doing Simon Cowell cookery show (haven't watched it - don't like her and don't like Tom Parker Bowles) but she hasn't done anything that I can think of since Countdown - except of course getting her photo taken all the time in tight dresses!

Doesn't she do Loose Women? (Don't watch it). Not really a fan, but I think she's very attractive for her age.

Very clever lady but somehow incredibly irritating. It was a great day when she quit Countdown, especially as one of the few things that made her bearable before had been her sparring with Richard Whiteley, but when he went to the great Dictionary Corner in the Sky I found her harder to stomach.

I believe she frequently anchors Loose Women and appears in some food supplement ad campaigns

and she has her school text book and sudoku products

I think it's fair enough that an intelligent woman 'of a certain age' should get a share of the limelight

I think you're right, chaptazbru, about Loose Women. I tuned in once as people said it was witty - it wasn't, just people I don't care for much like Sherrie Hewson and Denise Welch twittering away. Carol Vorderman would fit in nicely on that show, then.

The Daily Mail website has loads of gossip articles about 'celebrities', most of whom I have never heard of before.

It seems to be almost all they do these days.

The Kardashians, wasn't the father the lawyer who represented O J Simpson? Other than that they have just made a career out of being that awful word a "celeb". At least they are easy on the eye!
