Quick Question Re: Fines
I have today recieved a letter from the courts finance and enforcement unit.
The letter states that I am £160 behind with my fines/court costs and that if it isnt paid within 10 days a warrent may be issued for my arrest etc.
I have paid the £5 a week (set by the magistrates) every week without fail and have all of my reciepts to prove it.
I cant ring up until Monday to sort it but just wondered
1) are the fines department so inneficient that they can loose track of payments? and
2) what would happen if I didnt keep reciepts of my payments?
Given my recent involvement with the justice system im beginning to think a 10 year old could run it better.
