Following on from an earlier thread, your opponent has pulled the trigger and there's been no shot. It's your turn. I think you should spin the cylinder to ensure that you have as many chances of finding an empty cylinder as possible. Am I correct?

there's another problem with 2 bullets in consecutive chambers where it is better not to spin. spin --> odds of death = 1 in 3 don't spin - bullets were in (say) 1 & 2, so opponent must have shot at 3, 4, 5 or 6; your shot will be at 4, 5, 6 or 1 - odds of death = 1 in 4.
