The ignorance and racism of some people on AB is breathtaking.

Britain has always been a polyglot nation. Angles, Saxons, Romans, etc , etc.

We are all a mixture here on this island. For instance, when the Normans successfully invaded us in 1066, they themselves had come to northern France from what we now think of as Scandinavia a few years before, as Vikings.

What kind of country would Britain be without all the different cultures that have settled here ?
