Any point in Human history from 200,000 years ago in Africa to today. All ABer's are expected to provide a short reason why you came to decide your choice.

(self explanatory really)

2086 was a great time to be born. I'm really enjoying visiting the past. This 2013 is quite good, I would have liked to be born now. With the computers, electric lights and switches on the wall, it's just like my grandpapa used to talk about! Not sure I could deal with self-housework, though

What an interesting question ..... I think I would have liked to live through the Victoria times in my home town, so I could meet my ancestors .... a little like Goodnight Sweetheart only further back .............. not to change anything just to be a silent observer.
As late as possible to gain from the advances in healthcare. This morning might do at a pinch.
I was born in 1951, had that not been the case I would not have had the life I've had, seen and done what I have, and married the woman I did, would I change anything? No!
I like it now. I have lived since 1927 and know without a doubt that, for me at least, this is the best of all possible times. I did say, for me, you understand, I know it is not the case for many people. I have everything I need, a place to live, warmth, food, clothes and many other things, such as this computer which makes life more interesting. I have not always had enough to eat, sometimes no money and nowhere to get it, so I am speaking from experience. Definitely this is the best of times.

Just like Goodnight Sweetheart ey? Might adulterous thoughts plague you perhaps? :) Great series, excellent concept. Although it was a bit weird having to get used to new actresses for Phoebe and Yvonne. And I prefered the first Phoebe and the second Yvonne, speaking purely lustfully... The acting was equally as good.
Now for me, too :)
I think I was quite lucky being born when I was (1948). The war was over, family's were still close knit, I don't remember anyone being unemployed for any length of time. Medicine for all came along with the NHS, and vaccines for the dreadful TB and polio. Grammar schools were there for all to have a shot at, and universities were available for those able, not just the well-off. There couldn't have been a better time than the 60's to be a teenager.
I`d love to have been born earlier so that I could have been a teenager in the 60s (in London). I`d have worn white lipstick, black eyeliner and the shortest skirt I could`ve got away with. Then I`d have migrated to San Francisco at the end of the 60s.

I love a good stadium, and for me the king of all spaces in history must be the Colosseum, Rome. Blood sports might take me a while to acquire the taste but the visual and auditory impact of 80,000 Romans as one in chorus does it for me ;)

Does it have to be in the UK?

Tahiti in about 1500 sounds pretty good
This is my 4th reincarnation. Probably many more to come.
Emmmm maybe about 1952.... same as my Dad. I just wish I had experienced the culture in the 60s and 70s.
Ohhh - reading all the answers from others makes me think, yes, Craft I can see what you mean about having been a teenager in the 1960s .... I would quite like to have been there then ..... the best decade for music ever ...... with the exception perhaps of the 1930/40s jazz ..................
