As far as I know it doesn't have a particular name. I imagine hundreds of schoolkids will remember this piece as their very first introduction to classical music.

I think it's name is officially something boring like "Peter's Theme". Wasn't it used as the theme tune to a TV programme in the 60s? I knew it before I first came across Peter and the Wolf, which was in the early 70s.
