After excercising all day at the gym, how many people take a shower and change at the gym? Or are the people who do change at the gym considered weird for undressing washing and changing at the gym?

Certainly should take a shower as soon as possible after the workout, otherwise it would be quite unhygienic. I personally would consider the people not washing and changing at the gym as being the 'odd ones out'!

I tend not to shower at the gym because their soaps, shampoos, etc are cheap and nasty and I don't want to have to take my own - my gym bags usually crammed enough as it is. Also it works out better time wise if I come straight home, put the tea on and then shower whilst it's cooking.

I don't mind driving home sweaty because there's only me in the car.

its another shower question - i'd think you were odd if you spent half an hour in the gym showers - i bit too much like skulking around for my liking! But no you shoud have a shower after a workout - most people do i should imagine

i wont use the showers at my sports club, they are manky, so i always always wait until i get home!

I'm sure that some people (especially women) who don't shower at the gym are probably very self conscious about their poor body shape (too fat, too many rucks & runkles etc) when surrounded by a lot of fit slim athletes, and prefer to shower in the privacy of their own home afterwards. As long as people shower after a workout I guess it doesn't matter where they do it. Also, as MmeBadely has pointed out, packing so much kit to go to the gym is like having to pack for a holiday. Sometimes it's just easier to shower at home and multi-task doing something else when time is in short supply.

I guess I didn�t ask the question right but I was wondering mostly how many people feel compterable changing in front of other people. When I go to the gym after a good work out I usually go swimming so that means I have to change underwear, so I do. So the main question is how many people feel relaxed enough to changing in front of other men? And if most people change in front of them or do you go to the stalls or do you just leave in wet shorts or what?
