18 Answers
My face has been really really itchy since yesterday - it is driving me mad. Mainly my nose, but my cheeks as well. Have taken anti-histamine but not really done much good. Havent changed soap/shower gel or anything.
Any ideas?? Im rubbing my face like some mad woman, its actually sore now.

a suggestion for some short term temporary relief ...... wash your face thoroughly in luke-warm water - no soap, then sit down and hold a cold damp flannel on your face for two minutes ... take the flannel away and allow your face to dry naturally, wthout towelling . . . see what happens

I scratch myself to pieces especially on my shoulders and arms. I have always thought it was a habit, although it does itch. I read somewhere about something called 'senile itch' so as I am very old, it could be that. Not in your case of course smowball. Try not to scratch it or you will have a bit more to contend with than itching, such as scarring, and bleeding.
