I've Got Chicken Pox :(

Managed to catch chicken pox from thing 2! Got hardly any spots (but the ones I have got itch like mental, especially the ones in my hair) and feel like I have got flu coming. No wonder kids feel so rotten when they are plastered in a rash.

I find germolene helps rashes as it has an anaesthetic effect.

Oh Sher that's awful. But, it is said that best to get it while you are young rather than in old age.

Thanks all, got piriton stuff, paracetamol and some cream stuff from last week when thing 2 needed it. Have used the cream and paracetamol, will use the piriton when I know everyone is settled (in case it makes me feel odd).

Don't forget lavender oil Sherr, it works wonders. Not only does it soothe the itch, it's also calming so your house will smell lovely and everyone should be quite calm.

oh that really sucks. you have my sympathy as it is a horrible thing to have as an adult. poor little thing. (((big hug))). i've already had it. you can now get calomine cream and it is easier to apply than the lotion.
