Managed to complete all this unaided, apart from 5d, which no-one else has asked about! 5d: "Rigorous way to get sprained, say" (6) - -t-i-t "Strict" wold be the obvious answer but how does that fit with "sprained, say"? Saying strict doesn't ring any bells with me re sprained?
