Try this
8oz self raising flour
1 tsp baking powder
pinch salt
1oz sugar
2 oz margarine
Natural yogurt to mix
Gently rub margarine into flour, using a fork is fine. Add sugar and salt. Stir in some sultanas if wanted. Stir in about 3 large tablespoons of natural yogurt, adding more if required, till it makes a soft texture.
Roll out gently, you can even just push the mixture flat, and cut to size required. Bake in hottish oven, about Gas 6-7 for about 10-15 mins, depending on size of the scones, till golden brown. Handle as little as possible.
