wit tonight.
scene - Inn on Dartmoor, good food, roaring fire.
Enter white guy, circa 33-35, Chinese gf or maybe wife, nicely dressed.
Sit down, he with a lager, she with a sherry or something, maybe a Riesling....look through the menu and he is "steering," nay, insisting that she eats the fish......Teignmouth mussels to begin with (actually very good - but ouch).
Same with main course and then her wine - she sks for a glass, the waiter says he has several - straight in from him "she shall have your Chilean Merlot."
Never mind what a bloody awful choice with skate but it was the way he said it that suggested "ouch, we have one of those here."
Organising one's own life to the nth degree, or variations thereof, is one thing - mazie, do you organise others' lives to the same degree? Open question. If you don't, no solution needed.
