My brother bought a Sony Ericsson (on o2) in Ireland but no longer needs it. I tried to put my o2 sim card in but it keeps telling me to insert correct sim card. Is it just a simple case of getting it unlocked or do I need to do something else?

yes,just get it unlocked and it will work in the uk
