i think it's more likely to be 'Dirge' by Death in Vegas.

in fact i'd put my house on it being 'Dirge'. extra info: it's track 1 on their album 'the contino sessions', the singer is Dot Allison, girlfriend of DIV mainman Richard Fearless and folky singer in her own right. The song was used on a Levis advert a couple of years ago (the raunchy one with the couple on the sofa)
