Unannounced sender on e-mail messages.

As co-oordinator of a voluntary organisation I send out a lot of group emails where all recipients are disclosed. One particular recipient with NTworld.com always receives my messages without either the sender or the subject being disclosed. He is worried that this is a security risk to his computer and if we can't resolve the problem, he wishes to be removed from group mailings. The same thing occurs if I e-mail him separately. Can anybody suggest what is causing this and how I or he can resolve the problem. He is the only recipient affected. Thanks.

A few questions that might help shed some light:

- Is he using a web based mail service or downloading into something like Outlook Express?

- What program are you using to send these e-mails?

- What does it say for the subject and sender when he receives the e-mails?

- Do you know if this happens with other people mailing him?

- Do you mean NTLworld.com?

To be honest it sounds very odd if the list of senders isn't hidden. Usually the recipient might be hidden or marked as "undisclosed", but that is normally if they are send as BCC which it doesn't sound like these are.

Then again, we are dealing with (I suspect) NTL here and when I was with them they used to do some strange things occasionally. Nothing like as bad as AOL mind you.
