What happened between Abbie Lockhart and the young doctor she was going out with? i must have mised something at the end of the last series as i saw her rip up the postcard last night. What happened between them?

Typical ER not quite finishing off a storyline moment! He matched for a residency in San Francisco, and more or less asked Abby if he should put County down as his first choice instead. She told him not to do it on her account, and that was the last we saw of him. This was depsite the fact she had met his family and the relationship seemed to be going somewhere. His name was Jake Scanlon by the way.

I say Abby should get back with Luka, it's about time he had a bit of luck! I think he has been turned over by Carol, Abby, Sam and at least one of the nurses.
