I remember reading an article in the paper in which the writer said she took her Dyson to a vacuum cleaner repair shop and when the man pulled a curtain aside to put the machine in an alcove, it was filled with nothing but Dysons. When she asked, he said he gets them in all the time and could run the place as nothing but a Dyson repair shop.
Different day, different article, different writer, and she said she lived near the Dyson factory (no idea where that is) and she said no-one round there has one. Loads of people in the aread work in the factory and it's well known (apparently) that they're not nearly as good as they're made out.
Sorry if this sounds like a rant against Dysons, but that's just two articles I've read, and I've also personally heard several people say they're not very happy with their Dyson. Mm... the power of advertising...
