Sertraline Very Late Dose

Hello I'm on the antidepressant sertraline (Zoloft) 150mg once daily. Today I forgot to take it and am now about 11 hrs late. Is it still safe to take the full dose (as I don't wanna accidentally have too much in my system when I take it tomorrow) but neither do I wanna have too much.

Therefore I took half a dose (75mg) tonight instead.


Any advice please (I'd prefer to have the full dose tonight .... If its safe?) ,....

Personally I'd leave it, and start again tomorrow, if you feel you can manage to do that.

or ave the full dose wen you remember, then adjust tomorrow's time a little bit, then the day after that a little bit
For example if it was due at 8 am today, but you didn't take it till six pm, then tomorrow i'd take the dose at 2pm, then 10 am the mext day, then 8am the following day.

Ta for answer box - yeah I took half the dose - but gonna take your advice n leave the rest till tomo:( will just have to "wait n see" if the one reduced dose made a diff.

Ta for your advice as always Bednobs - I thought of doing it the way you suggested but then worried I'd perhaps forget to adjust times etc .. Don't wanna land up in more of a muddle lol . Thanks for your reply :)
