Can termites (white ants) eat MDF timber?

Technically, yes. It's made out of wood. But some MDF has treatments to prevent insect attack. The whole lot is bound together with resin, though so they will probably go for the nearest bit of wood rather than the MDF.
(And I know its a common term but termites aren't ants....they are far older)
termites are known to eat any kind of timber. if your house is infested with termite then at first you should try to get rid of this dangerous pest as soon as possible with the help of the pest control company.
