Blind Baking Problems

I am blind baking quiche bases using the method set out in this recipe http:// www.bbc goodfoo d.com/r ecipes/ 2197/ro cket-mu shroom- and-bac on-quic he The problem is the base rises as if it had air pockets trapped in it. I make sure the pastry is pushed well down. Any suggestions where I am going wrong?
