Especially for you Madmen... I finally got to Claire's and bought a pack of 12 pairs of tiny plastic backs to hold dangly earring safely in place. They do the job perfectly, cost me just over £3 but I would happily have paid twice that. I also found out these types of earrings are called fish hooks.
I'd never have thought of Claire's so thank you very much Madmen :)

Ah brill.
I am always losing the backs of earrings too, so I always have a packet of these handy.
Glad you managed to solve your problem and glad to have been some help :-)

Hi Madmen - I will be looking for those backs too as I bought a lovely pair of earrings from M&S but the back was unbelievably too tight I couldn't get a grip of it so never wore them again - but will add backs to my list of things I need to get - God am glad to be back on the site again. Really hopes it lasts.
What happened Conne? Why were you off the site? :-/
