Really enjoyed that but must admit I cried at the end!

This was one of the best tv dramas we'd seen in ages. I think the ending was deliberately ambiguous. We see Molly's letter - but it was the Corporal who was reading it. Indeed saxy-jag, it was very realistic, with all the usual Forces style language, sayings and banter one would expect.
Well scripted and acted, very believable. Nice to see the BBC are using the right research people for these sorts of programmes, same goes for Bluestone 42, it portrays Forces humour exactly as it is.

I thought it was brilliant. My eldest daughter joined the army - combat med tech, same as Molly - about 12 years ago. It gave Mr Q and I an insight into what she did in training, although she did tell us, you never know till you see it. We were so proud at the passing out parade. (She met her future husband in the army but left when they started their family) Very well acted.
