Do not play that particular game - shootemups and rpgs are more interesting to me :) - But I have followed this debacle with interest.
Company handled the roll-out appallingly. And this is all motivated by Digital Rights Management.Insufficient servers for the player base - How could EA make such a fundamental mistake? I think the idea that you have to log-on purely to play as a single player is a travesty. I understand that if you were to suffer an online access fault, you would lose anything you have built. You cannot save to your local HD.
This is an and initiative which should be discouraged by the consumer staying away in droves until EA and other companies get the message :)
