Son's 18Th Birthday!

Its our son's 18th in 2 wks and I'd like to buy him something to keep along with his 'main' present which is money! Anyone got any good ideas that aren't old fashioned e.g. cuff links or an engraved beer glass - I don't think he'd appreciated them!

My Dad promised me a bike if I passed my 11+. when I did he said young ladies don't ride bikes. I never trusted him again.

i agree with the watch idea.....a nice decent one and get the date engraved on the case. you could buy him a nice pocket watch. or something like a nice ipod - they have silver casings which i got engraved for my son. or....something like an engraved tankard with something else.....half traditional and half modern. don't panic....you'll find something! x
