how many spaces on quiz call

i was flicking through freeview before i went to bed last night and came across quizcall. having never seen it before i was driven mad but not knowing the answer to the question they had on screen. as it seemed that the answer would not be found before i went off to bed iwas wondering if anyone knew the answer to the 'space' question. there was a paragraph on the board about kevin spacey going into a capsule blah blah blah and you had to say how many spaces there were. it has been bugging all morning.

anybody know the answer???

Many people on here ask about these 'quiz' channel questions. Basically they are all cons, despite the channels' insistence otherwise.

Most of the questions are so vague, e.g. what constitutes a 'space' in your question? Is it just the gaps between words? Does it include the 'space' in 'spacey' etc.?

And they rarely (if ever) explain their reasoning for the actual answer!

the vagueness is apparent but was thinking about what the actual answer might have been thats all.

last night I couldn't sleep so was watching it, boring though it is, and I thought it was 21, I don't remember anyone saying that number. My boyfriend was so convinced he phoned a couple of times but never got through - surprise surprise! I have now banned that channel from late night viewing because it's so frustrating.

Also, how on earth do people come up with such different and precise numbers? someone said 1 then another said 564 or something equally bizarre.

We came to 21 because of the number of spaces between words, the number of times the word "space" is written and then it was written backward too as in spacE-CAPSule and then the space picture on the background, ie the stars.

God, and I have a life too!

Would love to know what the real answer was though....
