I have two, what look like cold sores on my stomach had them for 3 days now and have noticed that my back has been aching for about a week - any ideas? Don't feel poorly.

You don't comment on the nature of your pain......stabbing or aching, which is significant, but 2 conditions come to mind.
1) Chicken Pox
2) Shingles.

OK......chicken pox is annoying and irritating, shingles is PAINFUL.

When I get spots like that on my stomach it's usually down to an allergy to rivets and buttons on jeans or belt buckles.

Not used any different washing gel or had anything metal or anything near me. The pain has eased off from last week, but still I ache, and have these like cold sore blisters.
