Who was the bloke gavin was writing the letter to his mum with?
Did the vicar end up with gav's mum?

I think the bloke was one of the Muslim brotherhood, good that he was encouraging him to sort things out with his mum. Could be wrong though...
No, the vicar went to Scotland. She was distraught and that's why she told gav she wouldn't be visiting him again, she realised she'd been babying him and not making him take responsibility for his actions....well, that's how I understood it.

oh i see, so even though they weren't together, she's decided to live her life as it were. Good for her. Good series i thought. But wouldn't the gangsters wife have gone to prison for covering up all that about the murder?

That's how I understood it, it did leave it a bit confused though.
Yes, I'd have expected that too, maybe because she told the police everything in the end they did a deal.

I was absolutely gutted there were only 4 episodes to this series. Four?!! :(
Anyway, it was brilliant wasn't it.
Yes there will be another series. It's been SO popular!

I thought they tied it all together quite nicely. Gavin was finally allowed into the Muslim brotherhood, and the vicar went up to the lake district to stay with his friend - leaving Gavin's Mother to get on with her life, and away from the prison.

I couldn't believe it when Paul got his son involved in that deal to rescue the daughter!

Excellent series, just gutted it's now finished.
