Who's going to have a dabble?
My existing betting account has been moved to another company so they offered me a free £10 bet (after my own £10) so I've put £5 each on two horses. When the free bet shows up I'll stick some more on each ways.
I printed off a list of horses, gave them each a random number then asked my boss to select a couple of numbers and I went with those horses.
I've never won much on it but I always tend to get my money back.
(If you're against the GN or horse racing in general, please feel free to start your own separate post on that)

I check the prices on all of the sites, but given a choice, I stick with Ladbrokes as they offer "Best Price Guarenteed". ie if its 10/1 on the day I get 16/1; if its 20/1 on the day I get 20/1.
I once backed a horse at 20/1. It won with an SP of 33/1. Happy days.
