Roaming Shopping Trolleys ?
9 Answers
Why can't some people leave shopping trolleys in the supermarket ? See someone walk with one 2 mile from the store yesterday. It had 3 bags in it and the wheel had locked when they had left the store.

Trolleys only cost a pound. Two sturdy bags from a supermarket will equate to £1.20 or more. And you can just abandon a trolley wherever you like - peoples gardens, in the middle of the road, in the lakes. The next people to find the trolley get it for free, and can race each other. Also (as one neighbour ACTUALLY said a while ago) - 'cheaper than pushchair'.
Grrrr. It winds me up. No doubt large chains get massive discounts, but a normal big trolley can cost around £92! (http://www.shopequip.co.uk/default.asp?cat=55&rng=162)
And customers wonder why supermarkets have to increase their prices of food, etc?
