Signal Lost

I can not see bbc progs on my tv only itv ect when i select bbc 1 it comes up signal lost.
I have checked the conections -antena all okay but still can't get bbc progs .
It is a Samsung digital. How do I retune it if that would be the answer.

Switch it off, unplug it and try it again in the morning.

I suspect it will be OK then.

Select Menu on your remote control, then choose TV, go to Channels and choose Full Scan(or similar).
Should be re-tuned in a couple of minutes.

Ah, Headwreck's link confirms you will have to retune.
Apparently some areas are changing channels.

If you haven't got the manual to refer to, then try pressing the menu button and look for a tuning option. Go for a full retune if that is an option.

I lost BBC programmes and had to re-tune today after engineering work on the Winter Hill transmitter. Its in Bolton, I'm in Liverpool.

Thanks to all. I retuned from the menu and got the lost bbc progs back.
Then because we have BT vision i had to retune their box, now all seems to be okay
Its good to know where to go to get your help.
