I am not someone who watches the news that much,but I saw yesterday that Jeremy Clarkson has been invited to the Thatcher Funeral Show.What????
Why???? I mean I didn't think he was a friend or anything,he never mentioned going to tea at Aunty Maggies on any of his numerous DVD's did he?

Then the penny dropped.

Just like the Phillpott deaths,our attention grabbing PM wanted to make it his own,in order to further boost his own rotten policies.He is trying to link a twisted sense of Britishness to right wing Tory policy-well that's what OH says,I say he is trying to make himself more appealing,and getting attention with the funeral,well people pay attention to something Clarkson is doing than poor old Norman Tebbit don't they?

I am surprised at the children (well Carole )are not wanting a less showbiz funeral,did half the people invited ever meet Maggie and chat with her -not just shake her hand at some party?

it's not an ordinary funeral, there are 2,000 invitees, so he is just one.
