This morning we went to 'ShaLynn Cattery' we were pleasantly surprised at the welcome we were given, we were shown the cat pens, bedding area and even central heating (if needed) cleanliness was top priority. There were single pens, double and even trebbles. The approach was nice with flower tubs and a host of welcoming Daffodils. which gave me the impression they cared.
So we did book our Ella in for 10 days in May. Because we are local they will deliver Ella to us next day.
I'm sure that she will enjoy her little holiday. I have a good cattery and the kitties are given 'single rooms' due to them being siblings (they fight) but the lady always makes sure that they can see each other.
It is sometimes the little things that make the cat feel less stressed.
Glad you are happy Jem....as well as being kept clean daily my pens were cleaned and disinfected with veterinary products between each booking. Wish I could say the same for OH's hospital rooms. :-)
Hi Jem, Glad you've got it all sorted and that you're happy.
Ella will act one of two ways when you get her home - absolutely over the top clingy and needy, or really aloof as though punishing you for leaving her! Either mood tends to only last a day or so!
Aloof, I think BB.
She's got to have another flu jab nx week & a booster 4 weeks later. Leave proof with cattery. Evidently the council does spot checks.
(I think thats a good thing)
