Thank you - got pressies, cards, a lie in and breakfast in bed (that's a first) and a cake with a firework thing on it. Couldn't go out for tea (when I was going to cash in my 'free birthday drink' emails) because of the lingering chicken pox, so I treated every one to fish and chips (so no cooking and minimal washing up!).

Thank you all, had a lovely, stress-free day. Spent most of it helping girl do a 1000 piece puzzle (she's bored witless as she has chicken pox). None of us has been very far for what seems like weeks what with the weather and the curse of the chicken pox.

Daisy - a healthy year would be fab, someone has been sick (with minor stuff) in this house since March 10 (know the date as is was thing 2 who first got chicken pox two days before his birthday).
