Ice cubes

Can someone please tell me how to make clear ice cubes (without the frosted centre) in a standard fridge / freezer.

I know a similar question was posted 23/07/03 but I believe there is an easier solution. than the answers given.

Use distilled water, or boiled water. This has the result of removing the air that is dissolved in the water.

And if you are trying to impress - suspend a rose petal or some flower in the ice cube. It shows up really well as there is no cloudy ice around. Dead posh and arty, but goes down well!
