Just discovered a Thorntons chocolate liqueur in the cupboard, I seem to remember buying this at the good food show last year. It is absolutely wonderful, I can see this disappering before OH comes home. Anyone else tried it?

Never tried it but you have just reminded me that there's a bottle of raspberry flavoured gin in the fridge, I bought it at a Needlework and Craft Fair last year - went to buy more thread and bought gin, what does that say about me?

You'd be surprised at some of the things you can buy at these big craft shows! There was some pretty nice foodie stalls as well. The thing is, my daughter (queenofmean) and I searched the two huge hall where this show was held and we simply could not find any stall that sold, needlework threads or the linen/aida to stich on. Which surprised me as there used to be quite a few of these stalls at these shows - however I have the gin to comfort me, it is rather nice, I've discovered that a lovely deli near where we live also stock this gin and they were told by the supplier to try it mixed with some Cava - maybe tomorrow.....

that's my excuse & I'm sticking with it!having fallen over in the pub yesterday whilest stone cold sober,think may be an idea to come off wagon,least not feel the pain!

My problem is I fal asleep, while OH is away I haven't got anyone to nudge me awake. Twice since he has been away I have woken up at 3.00 on the morning. Going to stratus in my kitchen timer to keep me awake until it is universal agreeable.
