After all he is "apparently" responsible for billions of deaths, slavery, pedophilia, homophobia etc. etc. through history and people are still dying in his name.

Atheists don't hate God, they just don't believe there is a God.

Yes, there are most certainly people who hate God! Many will be children! I was such a child and I remember the feeling all too well. I was brought up a Catholic and because of my parents'' being very prominent in our community at the time, we had several friends who were priests, who used to come around our house every weekend. And one of these so called "friends"...

Hitler's goals were very similar to those propounded by the religious. By eliminating all differences between people we would have world peace.

Indeed their methods are very similar. Kill all those who different.

The similarities are remarkable. The Jews were "The Chosen Race" and had "The promised Land". Hilter had "The Master Race" and "The FatherLand".

I consider it remarkable irony and one of the greatest hypocrisies of all time that we are expected to honour the story of Joshua and the Hebrew genocide as evidence of the glory of God while deploring precisely the same behaviour by Hitler.
