Ultrasonic Jewellery Cleaner

My wife has put down one of these on her b day list. Can anyone recommend a decent one or are they a waste of space?

I have had two, both pretty useless, see what the amazon rating say....the ones jewellers have work well but they are much more powerful and expensive.

Try gin. Then you can drink the rest of the bottle.

My daughter has one and gets good results so they may differ in efficacy.

Don't put brittle stones like emeralds and tanzanite in them. If it is a powerful,one can shatter them. I clean mine in warm water with dish washing liquid and a splash of ammonia.
