I may have mentioned on my weird things happening to me thread that my mobile phone mysteriously topped itself up.
I have just had a text from Tesco saying that as I have topped up again I now have £40 of free credit to use....plus whatever has been topped up...I haven't topped up...????
Any ideas...can someone else be topping my phone up by mistake?

It is possible to Top-up mobiles phones using the keypad on an ATM. It sounds like someone may be mis-entering the number they want to use.

Dee...I have no problem doing that! How are you?...I was so sorry for all your sadness.....x

J...That could be an answer then. I only top up £10 about once every two or three months and with the free credit I hardly use it all. I have just checked the balance...the paid for is the same as yesterday but the free is now £40.
Have you taken into account the fact that Tesco pay as you go triple your credit. So pay £10 and you get an extra £20 giving you a total of £30 credit.
Hi Gness, probably it's Mrs. O's friend - http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/ChatterBank/Question1234861.html

Hi Paul...yes, that's what I've been doing for years. The point is I am not topping up at all in order to get the free credit that's been going on this month......I think i'ts £60 now in total.

Hi Society...I'll just blame MrsO......:-)
Gness - someone has obviously registered their top up card with your number by mistake. Their phone doesn't get topped up, they take their receipt to customer services and tell them that it hasn't worked and they then get issued a voucher with which they top up their own phone - leaving you with £40 worth of free credit. It happened to one of the girls I work with last week - maybe it was her????
Oi! This is deffo not my fault!

Tamb....This phone cost £12 from Tesco quite a few years ago...it makes calls and texts and I can now set the alarm because my friends won't let me take my alarm clock on a train since it went off in the case and caused a bomb scare......To me download is carting the bag of cement to the bottom of the sloping garden...:-(
