Bean Vegetarian Meals
6 Answers
Looking for bean based vegetarian meals that are nice. Lots to choose from on the net but would like some of your opinions. I'm looking for meals with vegetables not just the beans.

If you reply do you want some casseroley type dishes?

lol, i have no idea, i was just thinking, make a curry and chuck in a couple of cans of mixed beans instead of meat - when i make dahl i often add chickpeas or kidney beans.
sweat onion and loads of garlic. small potato diced when they've had a few mins i add tomatoes or tom puree and curry paste. keep stirring till curry paste is cooked in. then add water and lentils and i leave that to cook for a bit then add the beans.
i reckon sweet potato and kidney bean would be nice but in spicy tomatoey sauce (more like a chilli)
